We had an amazing stay at Woodyhanger Lodge! The hosts, Carol and Warren, were fantastic - giving us the perfect balance of privacy and recommendations for things to do in the area. The apartment was beautifully decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed. The view from the lodge was breathtaking. We loved the good quality coffee provided. The location was great with stunning views and convenient parking. The lodge was clean, tidy, and had all the amenities to make it feel like home.
One downside was that it was a little cold due to the winter weather, but the heat pump provided just enough warmth. There was also heavy condensation overnight, making the lodge feel a bit damp.

Located on top of a hill, this lodge offers breathtaking views of the surrounding area, including the bay. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, making you feel right at home. The hosts are friendly and attentive, providing excellent service. Breakfast is included and features a delicious spread to start your day off right. The lodge also offers various amenities such as a pool, spa bath, and separate spaces to relax and unwind.
The only downside is that we didn't have enough time to enjoy everything the lodge had to offer.

had an amazing romantic stay in Whitianga with breathtaking views at the top of the hill. Superb accommodation, friendly hosts, and a delicious breakfast delivered to our door. Highly recommend Woodyhanger Lodge!
